This collection includes the materials of William Conlyn Eliason (1850-1921) and his son Henry Clayton Eliason (1893-1983). They primarily concern the Tolchester Beach Improvement Company of Baltimore City and the Tolchester Steamboat Company.

Materials include the 1884 certificate of incorporation for the Tolchester Beach Improvement Company of Baltimore City as well as deeds, stock information, and a financial report that document the scope of the company and its evolution; 25 blueprints; steamboat rates for commodities, passengers, automobiles, and the local shipping of merchandise dated 1915-1922; a 1903 letter from Hope H. Barroll to William C. Eliason contesting the exclusive use of the Old Wharf by the Tolchester Steamboat Company; advertisements for the Tolchester Beach Amusement Park; and information related to the steamers "Louise," "Annapolis," and "Tolchester."

Henry C. Eliason's scrapbook, dated 1933-1940, mostly contains newspaper clippings of current events impacting the Tolchester Beach Improvement Company and the Tolchester Steamboat Company, such as plans for the building of the Bay Bridge.
