This collection consists of photographs of the residential and industrial area of the Canton neighborhood in Baltimore. Also included are photographs of neighborhood events, as well as images of homes and churches.
The photographs in the Cary-McHenry Family Collection spans over 140 years. The materials consist of tin types, cartes de visite, portraits, group photographs, fashion photographs, and snapshots of members of the family, friends, and residences.
This collection contains photographs and ephemera related to the Charcoal Club, Baltimore’s famous and long running arts club established in 1883. The club’s annual “Bal des Arts” was a celebrated social and artistic event in Baltimore.
This collection consists of one album of photographs from the “Shorthorn Field Day and Type Conference” sponsored by the Maryland Shorthorn Breeders’ Association held at Cherry Hill Farm on October 1, 1945.
