This collection contains papers concerning the division of the estate of Samuel Smith (d. 1831) and instilling Michael Keyser with guardianship of William Smith and powers as agent of Ann Smith. The bulk of the collection consists of receipts, notes, orders, and bills issued by Ann Smith or Michael Keyser.
The Scheffre collection consists of 21 court documents and correspondence between court justices and sheriffs in Baltimore, Maryland from 1770- 1786.
Schooner "Mammoth" logs, 1814 and schooner "Independencia del Sud," log, November, 1817 – January, 1822
The collection consists of two log books from the schooner "Mammoth" dated 1814 and one log book from the schooner "Independencia de Sud" dated 1817-1822. The "Independencia de Sud" was formerly the "Mammoth." Also one reference binder containing print-outs of the digital images from the "Independencia de Sud."
This collection contains the research notes and collected resources--such as photocopies of land papers, military records, vital records, photographs, newspaper clippings, genealogical charts, and correspondence--of genealogist Claudia Schramek. The families represented in the collection include the Coursey, DeCoursey, Pearre, Duvall, Hall, Schramek, and Warfield.
