Scope and Contents
This collection includes a typescript of chapters of biography of William Buckland, notes on Buckland houses in Maryland and Virginia, notes on research done in London, and large amounts of correspondence accumulated by Rosamund Beirne and John Henry Scarff in writing the biography. Also included are correspondence to various institutions concerning Buckland and a typescript of a lecture made by Mrs. Beirne on Buckland to the Colonial Dames of America in 1956. Also of note are positive photostats of a list of householders, 1737-1738, and negative photostats of various manuscripts in the British Museum.
