Biographical / Historical
Corporal Elbert K. Saxmann was born in Iowa on November 14th, 1919. He fought in the Second World War, and was in active service from January 29th 1942 to December 5th, 1945, discharged honorably. He fought first in the 97th Chemical Composite Company, and then the Alaskan Wing Air Transport Command starting in January 1944.
