Scope and Contents
Most of the documents are paid bills, the majority of which date in the 1860s and 1870s. Many of the bills or receipts are addressed to either Mr. M.R. Goddard (fl. 1871-1898) or some member of the Williamsfamily. Several of the bills have two-cent stamps affixed to them. The buildings for all the businesses represented in the collection are pictured on the stationery.
