Reverend John Hersey collection
This collection consists of the the personal papers, namely correspondence, belonging to Reverend John Hersey, a Methodist Episcopal minister who came to Baltimore in 1835 as a missionary preacher. The material was collected by the Reverend Fletcher E. Marine during the period 1870-1889 while he was in the course of writing Hersey's biography.
Reverend John Lusby Pitts papers
This collection contains correspondence addressed to Reverend John Lusby Pitts, an itinerant Methodist minister in Maryland and Virginia, between 1798-1821. The majority of the letters are penned by other Methodist ministers and discuss camp meetings, revivals, conferences, politics, as well as daily life.
Reverend Lewis Richards register
Recorded in this register are the 671 marriages performed by the Reverend Lewis Richards at the First Baptist Church of Baltimore from 1784 to 1820. Also recorded are the 238 marriages performed by the Reverend Stephen P. Hill at First Baptist from 1835 to 1850.
Reverend Thomas Chase notebooks
This collection contains Reverend Thomas Chase's 1759 English translation of Silius Italius's epic poem, "The Punicks," the longest surviving Latin poem from antiquity about the Second Punic War.

Richard Childress photograph collection
This collection consists of photographs taken by Baltimore Sun photographer Richard Childress. Childress worked at the Sun from 1961 until his death in 1984. He covered virtually everything newsworthy for the paper over his more than two decade career: protests, sports, social and cultural events, politics, automobile accidents, house fires, fairs, festivals, and parades, military events, and more.
Richard Dorsey papers
This collection contains the incoming correspondence of Richard Dorsey, a tobacco inspector of Baltimore. Also included are land papers and legal documents relating to the Baltimore and Fredrick-Town Turnpike Road. The dates of the collection span 1797-1848.
