Calvert County Retired Teachers Association oral history collection
The Calvert County Retired Teachers Association oral history collection includes a series of interviews on the history of one-room schoolhouses in Calvert County, Maryland. The narrators include both teachers and students who were involved with a number of different schools from the 1920s to the early 1980s.
Eltonhead Manor and Habre de Venture correspondence collection
This collection contains correspondence related to the acquisition by the Baltimore Museum of Art of the wood paneling from two Maryland houses--Eltonhead Manor in Calvert County and Habre de Venture in Charles County.
Hill papers
The collection is made up of two principal series: the papers of Clement Hill, 1683 to 1819, and the business accounts of Clement Hill, 1701 to 1823. Also contained within the collection are land survey books dating from 1670 to 1715, mostly relating to Clement Hill, Sr. The bulk dates for both the papers and the accounts are between about 1760 to 1785. Gaps exist both before and after these dates.
