Carroll, Charles, 1737-1832

This collection contains 45 letters, mostly to English friends, with comments on the political situation in America, and the reaction to the Stamp Act. The collection also includes about 25 mid-18th century land papers, deeds and letters.

This collection consists of the personal and business correspondence of the Horsey, Lee, and Carroll families, 1684-1834. Microfilm identification numbers are included in the "General" note of each item in the container list.
