Scope and Contents

Correspondence includes a series of letters from John Shultz of Baltimore Town, one in 1794 discussing rumors of a yellow fever epidemic; from Abraham Shriver of Pipe Creek discussing the price of hides; a 1794 letter notifying Andrew Shriver of his appointment as postmaster general for Petersburg in York County, Pennsylvania and his letter of acceptance; several letters from Ludwig Frank of Hanover about an electric machine for his illness; and letters between Andrew Shriver, Daniel Lehr of Frederick, and David Shriver, Jr. about the estate of Jacob Bankert. Also includes a 1794 memorandum book of Andrew Shriver.
