Abstract
Dr. Chester "Chet" L. Wickwire (1913-2008) was a civil rights and peace activist. After receiving his doctorate from Yale Divinity School, he was hired as the Executive Secretary of the Levering Hall YMCA, located at Johns Hopkins University. He later became the University Chaplain from 1968 to 1984.
