Stanton, Phoebe B.

Phoebe Stanton was a Professor of Art at Johns Hopkins University and member of the Advisory Design Panel for Housing and Community Development of Baltimore City and Governor's Consulting Committee for Historic Preservation for the State of Maryland. In this oral history interview, she discusses the past, present and future of Baltimore and draws comparisons with other cities; the Charles Center; rationale for city planning; and public art in the twentieth century.
