Scope and Contents
This subseries contains extensive personal correspondence between Mark and his sisters Marie (Tettoni) and Stella, his mother and father and his cousin James Preston Wickham McNeal. Catholic Church correspondence, especially concerning missionary work in Japan and the Phillipeans in the early 20th century. Newspaper clippings, obituaries, diaries, notebooks and Japanese printed material circa 1910 – 1920. There is some detailed information on the Japan earthquake of 1923.
