Biographical / Historical
Robert Davison Brown (1823-1908), son of George John Brown (1787-1829), was a Howard County landowner (lived at Lawyer's Hill) and a Baltimore banker. He married Mary Dorsey Dobbin (1836-1895) in 1859, and they had 4 children: Esther Allison (1861-1950), Catherine Dobbin (1862- ), Rebecca Pue (1863-1927), and Dr. George Dobbin (1874-1858).
