Biographical / Historical
Benjamin I. Cohen (1852-1910) was the son of Israel Cohen (1820-1875) and Cecilia E. Cohen of Baltimore. He became a lawyer and banker in Portland, Oregon, and later the President of the Portland Trust Company, 1887-1910. In 1881 he married Sally Eliza Harper (1855-), daughter of Charles Buckler Harper of Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
