Ambrotype portrait of Joshua I. Cohen (1860-1885). Cohen was the son of Israel Cohen (1820-1875) and Cecilia E. Cohen of Baltimore. A native of Baltimore, he later moved to Los Angeles, California, where he died. He was unmarried.
