Scope and Contents
For 180 acres of land part of Piney Point, Worcester County, Md. out of tract of 500 acres acquired by David Long from Henry Dennis which was devised to him by his father Littleton Dennis, the original patentee from Lord Propriotary as a part of the original grant of 645 acres, on the Eastermost side of Pocomoke River, about one mile from Steven's Ferry. Beginning at first Bounder of tract Hap. Hazzard belonging to Benjamin Henderson then with a line N. 86° W. 32 poles (528 ft.) N. 60° W. 48 poles (792 ft.) N. 41° 30[prime] W. 56 poles (924 ft.) N. 51° 30[prime] E. 160 poles (2640 ft.) S. 35° E. 101 poles (1666.5 ft.) S. 56° W. 66 poles (1089 ft.) S. 22° 30[prime] E. 83 poles (1369.5 ft.) S. 56° W. 194 poles (3201 ft.)
