Scope and Contents
for part of Cowley in Worcester County, Md. lying on N. side of County road leading from New Town to sea side, beginning at a stone bounder on the S. corner of Nancy Young or Edw. S. Young Lot, then with County Road to its intersection of African Meeting House Lot Harold Scott bought of Zadock W. Hall, part of Cowley then with Scott's line N.E. to Rev. Avra Melvin's land then N.W. to Littleton Cottingham lot, S.W. the width of Cottingham Lot then N.W. to Ely Matthews Lot S.W. to Nancy Young Lot, then back to 1st named lot, containing 13 acres shown by two deeds from Zadock W. Hall to Stephen Long. Acknowledged before Avra Melvin and Jos. Stevenson, Justices of the Peace for Worcester County, Md. Recorded Worcester County Lib. A.X. f 242, 243 and 244.
