Scope and Contents

For 20 acres part of Piney Point, Worcester County, Md. about 1/2 mile or more below New Town on the East side of County Road, leading from New Town to Cedar Hall, beginning at bridge in County Road on S.W. side of a hill and which is on divisional line between Henry Long and William J. Long S. 27° W. 29 poles (478-1/2 ft.) to a stone bounder on W. side of County Road, S. 60° E. until it intersects lands formerly of Levin Long, now of William Quinn, N.E. with Quinn lands until it intersects William J. Long land, which formerly belonged to David Long, Junr., the father of said William J. Long, North 58-1/2° W. with a ditch to beginning. Acknowledged before Francis Muzick and James Murray, Justices of Peace for Worcester County, Md. by Henry Long. Recorded Worcester County, Md. Lib. G.M.H. No. 8 f. 577 and 578 (Feb. 3, 1846).
