Abstract

F. Millard Foard was an instructor in languages at City College in Baltimore, Maryland, from 1920-1959. Foard graduated from Baltimore City College in 1916 and Johns Hopkins University in 1920. He earned his law degree from the University of Maryland in 1923. In this oral history interview, he discusses being a City College alumni relations correspondent; collector of Oriental art; director of the Asian Cultural Exchange Foundation; and an instructor in commercial law at City College night school from 1920-34. Foard also discusses his childhood in Baltimore and his work in each of the above areas.
