Historical Note
Located across Gunpowder Road at the corner of Alesia Road, the house was constructed in 1865 for William Henkle Hoffman (1810-1886), a descendant of the first paper maker in Maryland. Hoffman also owned and operated several paper mills in Baltimore County. The house was demolished in circa 1933.
