Abstract
Lawrence W. Sagle was the first curator of the Baltimore and Ohio Transportation Museum, after a career as draftsman at the Baltimore and Ohio's Mount Clare shops. He was a public relations representative, 1936-1961; and the author of books and articles on railroading and model railroads. In this oral history interview, Sagle discusses the origin of the collection in the Baltimore and Ohio museum; the arrangement and renovation of the museum in 1953; film-making of restored locomotives.
