General

Henry Hollyday I writes to his brother, James Hollyday II, in London. He is concerned to hear of James' condition and implores him to "call up all your religion and philosophy to your assistance" to get on a ship and "trust in God that the sea air will give you both strength and spirits and endeavour to entertain confident hopes not only of seeing your friends here again but also of having your health firmly reestablished..." He further promises his brother that should he not return, he will do everything in his power to do what James' desires of him.
