Biographical Note
Robert Henry Robinson (1851-1937) was the son of Martha Ann Walls Robinson (1807-1897) and Thomas Wells Robinson (1803-1869). He was born at Potomac Landing farm near Brandywine and TB in Prince George's County, Maryland. He renamed the farm “Ferndale” and in addition to farming, he served as the deputy tobacco inspector at the State Tobacco Warehouse for eight years under W. B. Bowie in the early 20th century.
