Scope and Contents
The E.J. Gallagher Realty Company Collection consists of 1 box of photographs and ephemera related to the E.J. Gallagher Realty Company, one of the premier builders of rowhomes in Baltimore in the first half of the 20th century.
The collection is broken down into 2 Series:
Series I: Photographs
This series consists of 100 photographs mainly of properties in Baltimore built by the E.J. Gallagher Company. There are also images of paintings created by Edward J. Gallagher, photographs of a Sunpapers article about rowhomes, and other images. Most of the photographs were taken in 1972 or are not dated.
Series II: Ephemera
This series consists of brochures and advertisements for E.J. Gallagher properties including Ednor Gardens as well as some newspaper clippings and other materials about Taylor’s Chapel in Baltimore County.
