The collection consists of one box of photographs and other items related to the Sanford family. Most are photographs of John L. Sanford, Sr. and John L. Sanford, Jr. Sanford Sr. served as President of the Saint George’s Society of Baltimore. John Sanford, Jr. was the States Attorney for Worcester County, Md, for a period during the 1950s and 1960s. The collection also contains a few clippings from periodicals, a certificate from the General Society of the War of 1812, and a piece of John Sanford, Sr.’s stationery from his tenure as president of the Saint George’s Society.
