The Milburn Family Photograph collection consists of three boxes of 544 photographs related to the Milburn family of Maryland. A large portion of the collection of Milburn family photograph collection is made up of photographs of family members and friends at holiday celebrations, on outings and vacations. Many photographs are of the American West, probably taken ca. 1918 when John R. Milburn (fl. 1890-1970) lived in Idaho and UT while employed with the U. S. Patent Office. Others are typical snapshots of family groups and recreational activities, from the early 1900s to the 1960s.
Family snapshots are mostly unidentified, but probably include John R. Milburn, Page Milburn Jr.(1896-1923), Mrs. Page Milburn,( died 1936), and John Rudisill Milburn.
Some negatives in box two and three correspond with prints found in box one and are numbered as such.
