Scope and Contents
Fifteen interviews were conducted as part of this project. Interviewees include: Beverly Reid, a member of the Baltimore Branch of CORE (Congress of Racial Equality) and particpant in the Gwynn Oak Park protests; Gloria Richardson, a leader of the civil rights movement in Cambridge in the early 1960s; Steve McCutcheon, a member of the Baltimore Chapter of the Black Panther Party; Julie Randall, a participant in the Route 40 and Northwood protests; Marion Bascom, Minister of the Douglas Memorial Church; Moses Newsom, editor of the Afro-American Newspaper. There is also a recording of Fraser Smith discussing the oral history project.
