Abstract

This collection consists of photographs, ephemera, manuscript items, blueprints, and other items related to the E.J. Gallagher Realty Company, one of the premier builders of rowhomes in Baltimore in the first half of the 20th century. The company also designed the development of Ednor Gardens in northeast Baltimore.

Abstract

The Harold Williams Collection consists of 11 boxes of 624 photographs, correspondence, and newspaper clippings, dating from ca 1950 to 1972. The photographs were donated to Williams from various sources for use in his newspaper column “I Remember.” Subjects include views of Baltimore, portraiture, the Baltimore Fire of 1904, C&O Canal, Lyric Theatre, Southern Hotel, J.F. Weissner & Sons Brewing Company, Lake Roland Dam, and more.

The John Dubas Collection consists of 24 boxes of photographs and manuscript materials related to Baltimore photographer John Dubas, including more than 3600 photographic prints, film negatives and glass negatives taken by Dubas between 1900 and 1971, as well as correspondence, ledger books, and log books.
