Abstract
Correspondents include sons, Stephen, William and John Beale Bordley, Samuel Chew, Patrick Hepburn, and Daniel Dulaney. Included are medical diagnoses and records; and journal of Thomas Bordley's voyage to England. Volume containing copies of letters exchanged by James T. Early and family, 1830. Seven letters from William Hollyday, 1852-60. 24 letters to James T. Earle, Howard, 1830-32. Also patents, deeds, and numerous other land records. Also included are Bordley's correspondence and notes on the Tilghman, Lloyd, Frisby, Hollyday, Earle, Tobins, and other families. Data on Readbarne. 16 letters written by members of the Tilghman, Earle, and Lloyd families, and a MS "sketch" of the Tilghman family in MD by Judge Richard Earle. Also VA three-pound note of 1773 signed B. Dandridge and John Blair. Also reply to invitation of Mrs. Charles Carroll (Barrister) by Mr. and Mrs. Johnston of Bladensburg.
