Scope and Contents

The ledger contains references to several Georgetown tobacco warehouses, to "Georgetown Academy", and to various families. Accounts of large shipments to William Anderson & Co. of London. List of vessels which shipped to important customers; Gov. Thomas Sim Lee, Daniel Carroll, Warner Washington, and Gen. James M. Lingan. Business conducted either by Brooke Beall or by Beall & Turner.
