Biographical / Historical

George was the youngest of Caspar and Annie Heller's nine children; husband of Margarete Arold Heller; and father of Marguerite, George Jr and Amelia.

George earned a medical degree in 1897 and was a physician in East Baltimore. In 1907, he was elected to the Baltimore City Council. Dr. Heller also served as a member of the Liquor License Board, Democratic State Central Committee for Baltimore, and Chairman of the Board of Motion Picture Censors.

Dr. Heller died from injuries suffered during an automobile accident.
