James Cox account book
Abstract
This collection contains the account book of James Cox, Baltimore tailor, containing entries for suits, coats, breeches, etc., made for miscellaneous gentlemen circa 1768-1771. Included are types of material used, and color of garments. Customers are: Daniel Carroll of Duddington, Caleb Dorsey, Daniel Dulaney, Mordecai Gist, Capt. Charles Ridgely, and Dr. John Stevenson, among others.
