Biographical / Historical
Daniel R. Stiltz is listed as a photographer in the business section of the Baltimore City Directory in 1856-1859, with offices at 159 West Baltimore Street and residence at 82 South Sharp Street. By the mid-1860s, Stiltz shared office space with carvers and guilders Butler, Perrigo and Way at 168 West Baltimore Street, and lived on Hollins Street.
