Scope and Contents

The Joshua Fitze photograph collection consists of 30 photographic prints made from glass negatives taken by Joshua P. Fitze of Reisterstown, Maryland. The images depict showing local scenes ca. 1900-1910, with some interesting photographs of vernacular and high style domestic architecture. (Original glass plates were given to the Reisterstown Branch of the Baltimore County Public Library system. These images as well as additional photographs taken by Fitze have been digitized and can be viewed through the Enoch Pratt Library's Digital Maryland Program.)
