Scope and Contents
The material in this collection falls into three major categories: items pertaining to Baltimore City College Reunions; Baltimore City College History; and Francis Millard Foard.
Reunion materials include correspondence, schedules, class lists, biographies of the class of 1939, songs and poems (including a poem by Hyman Pressman commemorating the 35th reunion of the class of 1930), and newspaper clippings about reunions.
Items pertaining to Baltimore City College history include a statement of philosophy (1979), newspaper articles about City College (the bulk of which concern the renovation and rededication of the 33rd Street Campus), and articles about various alumni and faculty of Baltimore City College.
Mr. Foard's papers include incoming correspondence, much of it in response to an article by Mr. Foard which appeared in the 17 Feb 1980 edition of "The Sunday Sun Magazine." Also included are articles about Mr. Foard and awards received by Mr. Foard.
