Scope and Contents
This collection includes correspondence, contracts, and box office receipts related to various travelling vaudeville, burlesque, and minstrel shows that played at Otto Kamberger's Opera House in Brunswick, Maryland from 1904-1911. The correspondence is written on letterhead stationery advertising the performers and shows available. Mention is made of early electric capabilities. Also included is the script of a play in which Kamberger appeared as well as other printed ephemera such as calling cards and newspaper clippings related to the Opera House and its shows.
