Scope and Contents

This collection consists of 100 photographs of the Olsen Family from 1919-1965. Early photographs depict Terje and Eva Olsen with their young children. Most of the photographs are from Frank C. Olsen’s time at the Frederick Army Air Field while he was stationed there for training. Another large group of photographs is from Frank’s time with the New Eagle Rollers roller skating club. Later photographs of the family consist of snapshots from family vacations. Notably, many of these photographs have handwritten captions on the back, penciled in Norwegian.
