Biographical Note
Mrs. Miles White, Jr. (nee Virginia Purviance Bonsal) was the wife of Miles White, Jr. (1856-1938), banker and philanthropist of Baltimore.

Collection includes the a list of churches with old silver in Maryland, a list of specific silver pieces in several Maryland churches, a short history of Somerset Parish, and a short history of a silver service presented to Somerset Parish by Queene Anne, circa 1712; all written by Mrs. Miles White, Jr., and all undated. Also includes a resolution on the death of W. T. Thelin from the Officers of the B & O Railroad, 1894.
