Abstract

The collection consists of eight boxes of miscellaneous print ephemera relating to various Baltimore cultural institutions and organizations. The material is organized alphabetically by organization. The majority of the items are publications from Baltimore organizations, institutions, colleges, and invitations personally sent to Mrs. Symington. Organizations represented include the Baltimore Opera Company, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Center Stage, GBMC, John Hopkins University and Hospital, the Lyric Opera House, the Maryland Genealogical Society, the Maryland Historical Society, the Morris A. Mechanic Theatre, the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America, the Pride of Baltimore, the Walters Art Gallery, and more.
