This collection primarily contains the business papers, land records, and Estate Record Book of Levi Hollingsworth (1765-1822), a Baltimore merchant, copper manufacturer, and public official. Other Hollingsworth family materials in the collection pertain to Levi's relatives located in Cecil County, Md. and include land grants and surveys.
