Scope and Contents From the Collection: The earliest posters in the collection feature Leonora Jackson, one of the first female violinists to gain international fame, circa 1900-1915. The most recent poster is a 2020 Black Lives Matter poster. In between is everything from a 1968 Nixon/Agnew campaign poster, to Baltimore City Fair posters from the 1970s, to a poster from the U.S. Pro Cycle Championship held in Baltimore in 1982.The bulk of the posters in the collection, over 1,000, are World War I and World War II era...

Poster from the "March for Equal Justice and Equity" held in Baltimore, Maryland and organized by the Baltimore School for the Arts following the death of George Perry Floyd, Jr. (1973-2020). It was one of many international events that occurred in the wake of his death at the hands of the Minneapolis Police Department. The March began at the Baltimore School for the Arts on 712 Cathedral Street and ended in front of Baltimore City School Headquarters on North Avenue.
