Anthony's, owned and operated by John and Mary Zadroga, is one of the few remaining sidewalk markets in the city of Baltimore. Mr. Zadroga's father started the business on Eastern Avenue in 1946, and John has been managing it since 1958. The Zadrogas live above the market.
