Verso transcription: Charles & Mulberry. The Enoch Pratt Library is seen at the top of the hill in the background. The Basilica of the Assumption is on the right on Mulberry Street and is just visible behind the Rochambeau Tree. This English elm at Charles and Mulberry Streets is the last remembrance of John Eager Howard's estate, Belvedere. Rochambeau and his men are said to have camped and raised an alter under it in 1782.
