The collection consists of 229 photographic prints and one photographic souvenir booklet. The subjects consist of Baltimore buildings, businesses, piers, schools and colleges, hospitals, fraternal organizations meeting places, film and burlesque theaters, banks, churches and synagogues, street scenes, houses, monuments, City Jail, clubs, city government buildings, clothing companies, Druid Hill Park and zoo, and much more. Most photographs are exterior shots.

Individual portraits of three members of the Bright family, a prominent Baltimore African American family. Portraits are of William H. Bright (1818-1907), who operated a fleet of drays in Baltimore during the 1860s; his wife Eliza Ann Powell Bright (1823-1907); and their daughter-in-law Mary Elizabeth Bright (1850-1902).
