Figgins photograph collection

Figgins, thought to have originated during his service in the United States Navy in World War I, depicting ships (Stockton, USS Von Steuben, Jason, USS Hopkins) and crews including African American sailors. Abstract The Robert Goodloe Harper Family Papers consist of manuscripts belonging to the Harper, Carroll, and Pennington families. The collection begins in 1747 with a file of letters to Richard Croxall on the Baltimore Iron Works and concludes in the twentieth century with papers of various members of the Pennington family. The bulk of the collection, from 1784 to 1825, centers around Robert Goodloe Harper (1765-1825) and his wife, Catharine Carroll Harper (1778-1861), and include correspondence...
