Cockey-Gist papers
This collection primarily contains the incoming correspondence of Dr. John Paul Cockey (1796-1859) as well as some incoming and outgoing correspondence of Mordecai Gist (1743-1792). Also included is Cockey family genealogical data and a copy of a memoir of Brigadier General Mordecai Gist.
