French and Indian War account books
This collection contains the ledger index and accounts of Maryland troops, with separate alphabets for companies commanded by Col. John Dagworthy, Captains Alexander Beall, Joshua Beall, Francis Ware, and Richard Pearis in the French and Indian War, 1762-1763. Included are lengthy entries for Dagworthy, for the hospital, and for the 7 1/2 percent deduction from pay of officers and men; index summarizes dates of service, amounts of pay due, and general remarks on each soldier.
French and Indian War records
This collection contains four volumes of French and Indian War records. This includes the muster and Pay Rolls of Capts. John White, Peter Butler, Elias Delashmut, William Luckett, John Middaugh, Joseph Chapline, Jonathan Hager, Thomas Norris, Henry Casson, Peregrine Brown, Peter Bambridge, Stephen Ransberger, Moses Chapline, Joshua Beall, and Tobias Stansbury. Also included are accounts for provisions and quartering troops, as well as Maryland soldiers' claims.
Robert Gilmor papers
This manuscript collection was assembled and donated by the Gilmor family in 1845. Among others, the papers include correspondence with important figures in the French and Indian War, as well as the American Revolution.
