Estate settlement costs

This collection contains Charles Carroll of Carrollton's estate inventory, containing 200 pages, dating 1833-1834.

The papers of Harry Dorsey Gough include a large numbers of indentures and documents dealing with tracts of land in Baltimore and Harford counties. Also included are miscellaneous letters of H. Bengough, Charles Carroll, Charles Ridgely, A. Wiesenthal, etc. The collection contains letters and a memo book of Harry Dorsey Gough, 1790-1797, with papers of James Carroll as executor; inventory of estate of Gough, 1808, showing property room by room, list of debts, and administration accounts.

Administration record of the estate of Mary Bowen (died 1830). George Roberts executor. Gives inventory and shows expenditures for care of insane daughter in Alms House in Baltimore County.

This collection consists of 44 negative photostatic copies of papers relating to the estate of William Faris. These include inventories of goods, sales of the estate and final accounts, patents for improvement in propelling carriages, and a "water elevator."
