Collection of deeds, surveys, plats, and indentures predominantly from Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County, and Baltimore City ranging from mid 1600s to mid 1900s. Many are fragile and some are infected with mold.
Emma Collenberg Hale collection
This collection contains manuscripts, ephemera, and photographs related to the family of Emma Collenberg Hale (1913-2012), Le Roy Mitchell Hale (1913-1990), and Augusta Dorothy Collenberg Wise, all Baltimore City and Baltimore County residents. Included are mostly identified photographs of family members, as well as correspondence and miscellaneous ephemera saved by Emma Hale beginning in World War II. Also included are indentures, deeds, and surveys for Baltimore County, dated 1787-1862.

This collection contains the correspondence of Moses and Jane Friedenwald to their family in Baltimore, Maryland. This primarily includes letters to Moses’ brother, Aaron Friedenwald, his wife Bertha, and their son Harry. Moses’ poor health dominates the earlier letters, in which he and Jane provide in-depth descriptions of his gallbladder and liver problems.
